Very detailed observations and analysis la. I would like to offer a few corrections as a local participant in the Bhutanese financial market.

1. We do have a credit rating agency (called CIB at https://www.cib.bt/). However, their information is only ingested by the banks to check if any clients have loans with other banks and, if so, whether the loans have been serviced properly.

2 . 'Due to Bank and Financial Institutions' are usually borrowings from other banks and not the central bank.

I think your observations regarding the Bhutanese equity market is fair. However, if you are looking for a profitable place to invest in Bhutan, you will see that tourism is an up-and-coming industry and I am putting my bets on it by starting a small travel boutique at www.bestofbhutan.com

Other avenues you may want to look at is the future city at Gelephu which is supposed to be a SEZ where foreign investment is thought to pour in by billions of dollar over the next few decades.
